What's an Ebook? According to Wikipedia: An e-book (short for electronic book and also known as a digital book, ebook, and eBook) is “a portable electronic device used to download and read books or magazines that are in digital form.”[1] Sometimes the equivalent of a conventional printed book, e-books can also be born digital. The Oxford Dictionary of English defines the e-book as "an electronic version of a printed book,"[2] but e-books can and do exist without any print equivalent. E-books are usually read on dedicated hardware devices known as e-Readers or e-book devices. Personal computers and some cell phones can also be used to read e-books.
What's this got to do with golf? Lots! I primarily read e-books on my IPhone, but just about any smart phone would work. You can even download them on your computer as noted above, but that might not make for the best reading experience. On my phone, I can bring up any book I've downloaded and start reading where I left off, wherever I am, i.e. a plane, as a passenger in a car, at the park, in the can ( :) ), and yes even on the golf course. What would you possibly want to read on the course? How about this:
Or maybe your are at the golf range and want some help? How about this one?
Or maybe you're a tad out of shape and need a little guidance? Why not download this fitness book?
