What's an Ebook?  According to Wikipedia:   An e-book (short for electronic book and also known as a digital book, ebook, and eBook) is “a portable electronic device used to download and read books or magazines that are in digital form.”[1] Sometimes the equivalent of a conventional printed book, e-books can also be born digital. The Oxford Dictionary of English defines the e-book as "an electronic version of a printed book,"[2] but e-books can and do exist without any print equivalent. E-books are usually read on dedicated hardware devices known as e-Readers or e-book devices. Personal computers and some cell phones can also be used to read e-books.

What's this got to do with golf?  Lots!  I primarily read e-books on my IPhone, but just about any smart phone would work.  You can even download them on your computer as noted above, but that might not make for the best reading experience.  On my phone, I can bring up any book I've downloaded and start reading where I left off, wherever I am, i.e. a plane, as a passenger in a car, at the park, in the can ( :) ), and yes even on the golf course.  What would you possibly want to read on the course?  How about this:

Golf Digest's Complete Book of Golf Betting Games

Or maybe your are at the golf range and want some help?  How about this one?

Finally, Jack Nicklaus, golf's leading master, definitively covers the whole of his game through a lifetime of greatness. Golf My Way presents an all-inclusive, A-to-Z explanation of how this greatest of champions thinks about and plays the game. · New introduction, endpiece, and illustrations · Brand-new chapters discussing the changes in Nicklaus's outlook and techniques · Reflections on the differences in tournament golf today compared with when Nicklaus joined the PGA tour in 1962 · Advice on the mental elements of improved playing that are not directly related to ball-striking or shot-making

Or maybe you're a tad out of shape and need a little guidance?  Why not download this fitness book?

Maybe you just need a little help on the mental side of things:
The Inner Game of Golf

The Inner Game of Golf

W. Timothy Gallwey's bestselling Inner Game books--with over one million copies sold--have revolutionized the way we think about sports. And now, after twenty years of applying his Inner Game methods to the royal and ancient sport of golf, Gallwey brings us this completely revised edition of his classic The Inner Game of Golf, nearly half of which is new material, published here for the first time.

I could go on and on.  There are literally hundreds of ebooks out there related to golf.  There are thousands of non-golf related books too.  Never read an ebook or think your phone is too small to read on?  Think again.  I'm an avid reader and have been since I was a kid.  Most ebook readers are free for your phone, and the font and background are adjustable to fit your reading needs.  It's just so much more convenient than lugging around a paperback book.  That, and for the most part, most ebooks are less expensive than a hardback or paperback you'd buy at the store.  Give it a shot.  I think you'll like it.

For a wide selection of ebooks, I recommend eBooks.com - Download a book today

We are retired and enjoy playing golf, traveling and meeting up with friends. I always bring along my electric golf caddy, it lets me play this great game and get some exercise at the same time. My remote electric golf caddy is like my 15th club.
