Well, I had a feeling it was going to be something like this. Apparently Tiger was confronted by his wife about allegations of an affair that came out in the National Enquirer. According to this article at TMZ, his wife got upset and scratched his face. He bailed, and while fleeing the scene, the wife came after his SUV with a golf club. He subsequently became a little distracted, hit a fire hydrant, then the tree. Pissing your wife off never seems to end up good. For more info, check out the story at
