April showers brings May flowers and FREE golf lessons. The PGA and LPGA sponsor free 10 minute golf lessons every May and there just might be a professional near you that is participating. Play Golf America is the place to go to find out who's offering the free lessons near you. Just go to their website, enter in your zip code and you're set.
10 minutes doesn't seem like a lot of time, but the average swing only lasts a few seconds so it shouldn't take too much time to figure out what you're doing wrong. If you don't want to pay for a full blown lesson and want to get an idea of what lessons are all about, this may be your best opportunity. Hell, you could set up the free lesson an hour or so before you're tee time and use what you learn to improve your game that same day. Or, combine it with a regular lesson and get some extra time that you wouldn't have gotten in the first place.
