Video Golf Lessons? Crazy? Maybe not!
Can't afford golf lessons? Too busy to go to a course and take lessons? We all need lessons and we all have excuses for why we don't take them, or take them enough. For some people it's money. For others, it's the time committment. So why not take video golf lessons. You can get them for free at places like Youtube, purchase video lessons online, at the nearest sports store, or rent them at your local video rental joint. There are lots of ways to get them, and for some of us, it's much easier to take a few minutes out of the day in your office or living room, pop in the CD,then go practice in the backyard or the local driving range. The above video is obviously more for entertainment than instruction, but the quality of these videos and CDs are very good. The key of course is finding a video "pro" that you understand
and feel comfortable "taking lessons" from.
A lot of golfers will think you're crazy and should be spending your money on a golf pro at the local track, but when that's not an option, in my humble opinion, the video pro is better than no pro at all.
As you may have noticed, under the Golf Menu, there is a new menu item called Free Golf Video Instructions. Our goal is to load up that page with as many free "quality" golf videos as we can find. Some will be links to commericial sites, some to Youtube and Yahoo/Google type video clips. We can't guarantee that your game will improve by watching these videos, but if you're like me, every little bit helps! So, if you have a few minutes, take a look at the new video collection we are gathering for you. There are only a few on that page right now, but it will grow as soon as we can dig up the good ones for you.
