I'm always thinking of ways to draw golfers to my website. Figured if a few people showed up and maybe bought something through an ad, it would help pay for the monthly cost of running the website and I could use the information gained from attracting a few people to better promote some of my other websites. Basically, this website is an ongoing experiment I've been running to teach myself how to do things, and a place to run off my mouth when I'm bored. Anyways, one idea I came up with to help attract visitors was to use Google Earth to create course fly-overs. As usual, I'm late to the show....
Course IQ (www.courseiq.net) is a website that golf course flyovers, playing tips for individual courses, and Webinars in which you can purchase advice from a PGA teaching professional (for only $25). The two webinars they have listed on their website include "Rules you can use" and "How to lower your score by reading the features of a golf course". The flyovers are pretty cool and it it looks like eventually each course will have individual hole by hole advice from golfers who have actually played the course. Below is a link to a flyover of a local course that we play:

Looks like a website that's worth a visit.
